I hope all is well with everyone. Here on St. John, we are bracing our tiny island to be packed with visitors. Coming from the Midwest, I don’t really get into the Caribbean Christmas thing too much. I like to see snow and ice. Snow men and frost are seen outside your window. The sound of snow plows cruising the streets. My buddy Derek driving around in his 4x4 trying to get stuck (on a bet). The only tell tale signs on St. John are more people and the centerline house that uses half the kilowatts on the island every holiday time. I wonder what their bill is!!! The nights are a little cooler but not more than a few degrees. The sour sop are getting ripe. It is nice having a cool sour sop sorbet as opposed to hot chocolate! I wish everyone a happy holiday and thoughts of loved ones!
